Vivo X Fold S: Feature Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

The key features of the foldable smartphone Vivo X Fold S have been leaked online, so it seems likely that it will be released soon. A new leak says that the upcoming phone will have a 4,700mAh battery and 80W wired charging. According to Vivo, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC makes the Vivo X Fold S superior. In April of this year, Vivo showed off the Vivo X Fold, which has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has four cameras on the back and Zeiss optics. It also has a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery and 66W fast-wired charging.

A tip leaked the Vivo X Fold S’s specs from Digital Chat Station on Weibo. The source says that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will power the X Fold S. The phone is said to have a 4,700mAh battery that can be charged with 80W of wired power or 50W of wireless power.

Vivo X Fold S Tipped to Feature

The main screen on the Vivo X Fold is an 8.03-inch Samsung E5 2K+ (1,916×2,160 pixels) screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It also has a 6.53-inch cover display with full-HD+ resolution (1,080×2,520 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone comes with a standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 12GB LPDDR5 RAM.

For optics, the Vivo X Fold features a quad rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel primary shooter, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, 12-megapixel portrait sensor, and an 8-megapixel periscope-style super-telephoto camera. It also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone has up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery that supports both 66W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Leaks from the past suggest that the Vivo X Fold could come out in September.

If genuine, the Vivo X Fold S would be superior than the April-released, CNY 8,999 Vivo X Fold. (roughly Rs. 1,07,200) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
