Gameplay trailer for the remake of Resident Evil

It was just a matter of time before game underwent a complete rebuild as it was Capcom’s highest-rated game. While maintaining the spirit of the original game, cutting-edge graphics have been utilised to create a more realistic version of the horrible village. Leon realistically pushes away tree branches in the opening scene of the gameplay clip as he makes his way through a dense forest, following a blood trail that finally brings him to a town of the undead.

As with the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, it then switches to a quick glimpse of battle with the camera keeping an over-the-shoulder perspective, adding some extra shakiness throughout the stressful chase scenes. A brief confrontation with the pitchfork-wielding Los Iluminados demonstrates that the mechanics are still in place. In order to provide a “deeper combat experience,” Capcom has included a parry manoeuvre and a plethora of quick-time events to melee combat.

Resident Evil 4 remake debuts on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X on March 24, 2023. Pre-orders are currently available on all platforms.
