Oppo Reno 9 series launched in China

The Oppo Reno 9 series has been released in China. This series includes the Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+. The top model is the first time Oppo has made a third Reno model. It has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Even though we have yet to determine when the phones will be available in India, we should see at least two models in a few months. Oppo Reno 9 Pro+

So far, the Oppo Reno series has only been available in the mid-range and upper-mid-range. The Reno 9 Pro+ is making its way into the flagship range. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is its best feature. This is a top-of-the-line processor that came out before the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 that just came out. The Adreno 730 GPU with the chip. The 6.7-inch FHD+ screen has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

The only difference between the Oppo Reno 9 Pro and the Reno 9 Pro+ is that the Reno 9 Pro has one less camera on the back. It is powered by MediaTek’s near-flagship chip, the Density 8100 Max, paired with the Mali-G610 MC6 GPU. The 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen has a maximum brightness of 950nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a sampling rate of 240Hz for touch.

The back has two cameras for photography: a 50MP primary camera (with no OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide shooter. There’s a 32MP camera with autofocus on the front for taking selfies.

The battery has a capacity of 4,500 mAh and can be charged with 67W. The Reno 9 Pro starts with ColorOS 13, based on Android 13. The phone has a fingerprint sensor under the screen, just like the other two models. You can choose between 16GB+256GB and 16GB+512GB for storage. And you can choose from brown, pink, or black for the color.

From what we can tell, the Oppo Reno 9 looks the same as the Reno 9 Pro, and its vast camera module takes most of the spotlight. But the specs are very different, probably to keep the price low. It is powered by the Snapdragon 778G+ processor, paired with the Adreno 642L GPU. The 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display has a maximum brightness of 950nits, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz.

For photography, the back of the phone has two cameras: a 64MP primary camera (no OIS) and a 2MP secondary lens. There’s a 32-megapixel camera with autofocus on the front for taking selfies.

The battery is 4,500mAh and supports 67W charging. The software on the Reno 9 Pro is ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13. Like the other two models, the phone has a fingerprint sensor under the display. Storage options include 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. And the colors available are brown, pink, black, and red.
